"I had the autovac Nova. After 3 years the app does not work properly, it would map my house and the next day it would completely disconnect from the app and delete the map of the home so I would have to add the device everyday if I wanted a map. The vacuum works perfectly, I believe this is a tactic on the company’s side(the app) to get you to upgrade."

"Has to be the worst vacuum on the market. The app constantly forgets about the device and to reconnect the two, it takes many tries, each taking about 5 minutes. This is honestly the biggest waste of time and a huge inconvenience. I would much rather watch paint dry than ever use this product again. I will never be buying an ihome product again after having this poor excuse of a vacuum. $200 pile of garbage taking up space in my living room. This has to also be one of my biggest purchasing regrets also. I should've just forked over the extra money for either a Dyson or a Roomba."
"I havent written a review for a product for as long as i can remember. However, I bought the nova on sale 2 years ago and it has become a fixture in this house. He is lovingly called Homer (comes from "ihome"), and runs every other day. He has been a life saver since getting a shedding dog. Yes, his brushes get clogged about once a week, and sometimes (once every 6 months he throws a fit and forgets the layout of the house, but seems to have gotten better after the app update a yearish ago), but overall i have loved this vacuum. We do only have hardwood, and only a couple throw carpets. He will miss a little dirt around the edges of the carpet, and this has gotten worse with age ( the soft plastic seal that connects the suction part and dust bin is starting to rip and i think this has caused loss of suction). But for getting the bulk of the hair and dirt he does an amazing job. It takes about 2 months to fill his dirt bag base, which means he is working pretty good. Overall i will be sad when he finally dies, and he was an amazing value. Great job, great product."

"I absolutely love my Nova, I even bought another one so that I have one for upstairs and one downstairs. It helps keep the dog fur, and everything the dogs track in, under control. I really like the mapping and the ability to control when/where it vacuums."
